Titusville, Fla., Feb. 12, 2026 – Clearwave Fiber launched a new Little Free Library at a ribbon cutting ceremony held recently at the Titusville Family YMCA Center on the Space Coast of Florida. The project was in partnership with the Early Learning Coalition of Brevard (ELC Brevard). This milestone marks the Coalition’s 12th library installation across Brevard County since 2023 and second installation with Clearwave Fiber as a sponsor.
The YMCA offers childcare while parents work out and work side-by-side with their neighbors to make sure that everyone has a place to learn, grow, and thrive, which landed the YMCA as a perfect location for the groups’ next Little Free Library. The project is part of ELC Brevard’s Soar By Four initiative, a community based/family focused multi-faceted approach to provide educational programming and resources, encouraging community involvement and building awareness to increase Brevard County’s Voluntary PreKindergarten (VPK) enrollment.
Titusville Mayor Andrew Connors was at the event to help cut the ribbon and celebrate the launch of this new resource. “It is so important to promote literacy within our community and schools. It takes partnerships with the private sector, nonprofit sector and government,” he said. “It takes a community to help a community.”

Folks who helped celebrate the library with a ceremonial ribbon cutting included, from left, Clearwave Fiber Senior Vice President of Marketing Shelley Hallier, Titusville Family YMCA Center Interim Associate Executive Director Dara Sunseri, Titusville Mayor Andrew Connors, Titusville Family YMCA Board Member Darcy Covington, and Early Learning Coalition of Brevard County Special Projects Manager Darby Miller.
With 12 Little Free Libraries now established throughout Brevard County, ELC Brevard continues to advance its mission of promoting literacy and school readiness by removing barriers to access in “book desert areas.” Families and individuals visiting the YMCA can borrow, exchange and share books at no cost. This library is located inside the YMCA near their childcare room.
Clearwave Fiber’s sponsorship of the library demonstrates the company’s ongoing involvement in the communities it serves. “Supporting literacy is a natural extension of our mission as an Internet provider,” said Shelley Hallier, Clearwave Fiber Senior Vice President of Marketing. “Access to reliable broadband opens doors to information, discovery and opportunity, and reading does the very same. Together, books and broadband empower people to explore and thrive.”
