Community event showcases STEM education, robotics training, workforce development and student achievement through partnerships with Salina Tech and the Robo-Yotes Robotics Team.
SALINA, Kan. (June 18, 2026) – Clearwave Fiber, in partnership with Salina Area Technical College and the Robo-Yotes Robotics Team, recently hosted a STEM education and robotics event celebrating student achievement, workforce development and hands-on technology training in Salina, Kan.
Held at Salina Tech’s Industrial Maintenance and Automation Building, the event brought together students, educators, community leaders and industry partners for an interactive showcase of emerging technologies and workforce-ready skills. Attendees experienced live robotics demonstrations, connected directly with students and mentors, and explored how applied STEM education is preparing the next generation for high-demand careers.

A highlight of the event was Clearwave Fiber’s presentation of a technology grant to the Robo-Yotes, supporting the team’s ongoing educational initiatives, competition participation and continued innovation.
The Robo-Yotes demonstrated a variety of projects that showcased the practical applications of robotics and automation, highlighting skills in precision manufacturing, programming, engineering design and problem-solving. The hands-on demonstrations highlighted both technical proficiency and the creativity students bring to engineering solutions.
